Is this station closed?

[edit]

Is this station closed or has it not been officially closed hence in some way officially open?212.139.127.84 (talk) 12:58, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The station is still legally open and has a replacement bus service although the platforms can no longer be accessed. Through tickets are available to Barleston including Cheap London Midland Only ones. In most cases it is the same price as travelling to Stoke. 94.192.241.209 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:20, 10 July 2011 (UTC).[reply]
How can the Office of Rail Regulation give annual numbers of passengers using the station since 2003 when the station is closed??Steamybrian2 (talk) 15:35, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Because rail tickets are sold to and from the station; the fact that such passengers must use a bus for all or part of the journey does not affect the usage figures. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:27, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
