Karo people
[edit]I see that Luka Monoja's advocacy of the term "Karo" has reached here proper. I just came come the Kuku people page that had similar stuff. So far this, Luka Monoja is the only I see who holds these views, it's ironic that he says the term "Bari" isn't representative. It wasn't a European who made up the term. I'll wait a while to see who want to defend it before deleting the references. la gaie (talk) 20:30, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Consonant inventory
[edit]The Bari consonant inventory on this article has a palatal implosive, trascribed here as <'j>. The appropriate IPA symbol for a palatal implosive is <ʄ> not <'j>. I believe that this non-standard transcription comes from Spagnolo (1933) use of <'y>. I suggest this be changed to reflect current standard IPA transcription to avoid confusion.
