German submarines?
[edit]I was very doubtful when creating this page about inserting the German U-boats operations in Barents Sea and White Sea specifically against Soviet shipping (not the Allied Convoys that receive special pages). Most likely i failed to find in literature specified "confined" (by time or location) campaign like the ones in Kara Sea (43-44) or this same combined Soviet-British operation for 1941.

[edit]Started using Rohwer and Hümmelchen Chronology of the War at Sea, 1939–1945: The Naval History of World War Two (1992 [1972]) 978-1-55750-105-9 to replace online citations. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 15:46, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- R & H offer a modest amount of narrative which at times contradicts the original text of the article and its online citations. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 19:40, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- Sturmvogel recommended the 3rd edition but the cheapest I can find is 40 quid; the expansion I was toying with will have to wait. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 08:00, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- How fortunate that I came into some money and splashed out on the 3rd edition. I have removed the clean-up banner since I have replaced most of the online citations with literary sources. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 18:11, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
