Lead

[edit]
  • The album is a compilation → I would say "The record" to avoid repetition
  • eleven commercially successful → numbers above ten shouldn't be written out anymore
  • including her first top ten single → Please say "including her first Billboard Hot 100 top ten single" to clarify where the songs charted
  • received a perfect five star rating → Please leave out "perfect" as it's very WP:FANCRUFT-ish
  • the Recording Industry Association of America → please add "(RIAA)" afterwards
  • 2 million copies → write out the number
  • A second compilation consisting → comma before "consisting"

Infobox

[edit]
  • No issues here ;)

Background and release

[edit]
  • it contains eleven singles → same as in the lead
  • commercially-successful → two words
  • one top ten single → add "one Billboard Hot 100 top ten single" as in the lead
  • non-charting songs – "Don't Rain on My Parade", "Happy Days Are Here Again", and "My Coloring Book" → Unlink the last two songs as mentioned beforehand
  • The album's eleven tracks were produced from a variety of musicians → The album's 11 tracks were produced by a variety of musicians
  • with the same track listing but a revised order → with the same track listing in a revised order
  • featuring an identical track listing → featuring the same track listing

Critical reception

[edit]
  • appreciated the decision to release → appreciated Streisand's decision to release
  • he also liked → I would replace "liked" with a more encyclopedic word: "favored"
  • rated the collection a perfect five stars → remove "perfect" like in the lead; I would replace with "five out of five stars"
  • Link Guilty as never mentioned before

Commercial performance

[edit]
  • According to the Recording Industry Association of America, the record was certified Gold for shipments of 500,000 copies on May 4, 1971, and by November 21, 1986, had been → This is a bit weird, as the certification is not reported about by RIAA, but it is awarded by them. Rewrite to: "It was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of 500,000 copies on May 4, 1971, and by November 21, 1986, the record had been..."
  • 2x Platinum → double Platinum
  • 2 million albums → write out as in the lead
  • where it peaked at number 17 according to the official Top Albums → where it peaked at number 17 on the official Top Albums (same as for RIAA)
  • Add "(ARIA)" after "Australian Recording..."

Track listing

[edit]
  • Flawless ;)

Personnel

[edit]
  • Credits adapted from the liner notes of the CD edition → "the CD edition" is really superflous to mention here and could be left out

Charts

[edit]
  • Flawless ;)

Certifications

[edit]
  • Flawless ;)

Other stuff

[edit]

Copy-violation

Cartoon network freak – thanks for the review. I addressed your concerns in the article. Carbrera (talk) 00:10, 24 May 2018 (UTC).[reply]
@Carbrera: Gladly passing this! I wondered if you would maybe have time to look over one of my GANs? I have several nominations waiting for months (probably just like you). Anyway, congrats on your new GA! Best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 04:52, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
