Sawrey Gilpin was Barbarina (Ogle) Brand's father

There are letters in this publication [1] between Sawrey Gilpin and Barbarina Ogle, in which they both acknowledge their father / daughter relationship. The publication was edited by Barbarina's daughter, Charlotte Grey. Should the article not reflect this better than in a footnote, which leaves the matter so ambiguous? Not only that, but Barbarina inherited her artistic talents from Gilpin, and she became well-known in her own right. I think this article does not convey the true situation. Gilpin was the art teacher engaged by her mother to teach her to paint, (who was herself a daughter of the Bishop of Winchester).Anne (talk) 17:30, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I would propose the following edit and seek guidance how best to include it: "That Barbarina corresponded with her real father, Gilpin, is clear from Gilpin’s letters, acknowledging their relationship and writing of their visits to one another. In one of his letters, written on 9 February 1800, Gilpin wrote to Barbaraina: “Remember me kindly to Mr. Wilmot and my little granddaughter. God bless you, my dear child. Your very affectionate father. S. Gilpin" Barbarina, Lady Grey, is Barbarina Brand's granddaughter, so the relationship must have been well known in the family. Ref.
