Former USSR

"She spent time in Morocco, the former USSR, and Switzerland in official capacities." Nowadays people can visit the "former USSR", i.e. the countries that were once members. Surely during her lifetime there was only the USSR, with "former USSR" becoming a concept from the 1990s onwards? Obahn (talk) 16:17, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
