Article issues

[edit]

I've tagged this as an autobiography with too much emphasis on primary reference (artist's website) and inappropriate tone, all issues I've tried to improve via copy editing. The artist's prominence is well established by reliable sources, and doesn't need to be overly promoted--not the function of an encyclopedia, anyway. I've also removed mention of numerous masters, as represented, for instance, in the Art in Embassies program--hundreds, if not thousands of artist have taken part, and their listing here was gratuitous. 99.136.252.89 (talk) 02:57, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

:What the article could use are color images of the paintings. If Ms. Prey or anyone else can download images, free of copyright concerns, the article would be enhanced. Even better if any have been specifically noted in published sources. 99.136.252.89 (talk) 03:15, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Given the persistent COI and promotional intent [1], [2], the above suggestion is stricken. 99.136.252.89 (talk) 02:46, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I hope we're beginning a new round here [3], but the edits suggest another COI account. 99.12.243.171 (talk) 16:12, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Have deleted previous COI edits and added my own research and sources from my Masters dissertation on female artists of New England. Hope this can be of help StellerStudio (talk) 15:30, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What you've done, in large part, is restore a promotional tone. This has been to some extent amended by several editors. WP:SPA, WP:COI and WP:MULTIPLE are longterm concerns here. JNW (talk) 13:17, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
