Just a minor point, should anyone ever wonder about it/ look into it: the article- and several sources including obituaries- gave Mandell's birthplace as London, but I couldn't locate any combination of "Allada Barbara Grenville Wells" (under, for example, "Allada B. G. Wells" or "Allada B. Grenville-Wells"; the "Grenville" was at any rate a middle name of her father's- his father being Hubert Hedworth Grenville Wells, and HIS father Grenville Granville Wells- but seems to have been used as a compound surname by both Mandell and her sister, the latter's 27 Jan. 2021 death notice in the Times indicating the name "Grenville-Wells"). However, in September 1920 is recorded the birth of a "Barbara Wells", mother "Wheaton" (matching published sources regarding her mother's maiden name). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.145.191.185 (talk) 16:09, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
