[edit]I gathered from the interview that she is a protagonist of chiropractic, so I presume she is a chiropractor herself. Some more biographical information would be immensely useful, such as basic biostats (date of birth etc). JFW | T@lk 16:19, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Malicious allopath removal of whale.to link noted. I am logging all of these, so you will have to live with your actions being widely know. john 11:44, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Qualification?
[edit]THe removal oand replacement of chiropractor and DC has been, as is not unusual, not accompanied by any citation to demonstrate it is true. I've flagged it with a fact tag, and await some indication. Midgley 13:57, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I forgot to mention the details... we got a letter saying she wasn't a chiropractor. Since the external links didn't seem to say so, I removed it. Reading around, she seems to have close links with the profession, and to be strongly supported by them, but this is a far cry from being one - [http :// whale.to/a/fisher.html], for example.
- Indeed, that interview mentions "I didn’t really know anything about doctors of chiropractic when I flew to Boston...", ten years after she started campaigning. JFW's a smart guy, and I'm loath to disagree with him on anything vaguely medical, but I suspect his comment above was a mistaken interpretation. Unless we have a citation, I'm going to pull the claim - the onus of proof is on inclusion, not exclusion. Shimgray | talk | 14:11, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- I notified User:Ombudsman that it was disputed, and he has chosen not to respond[User_talk:Ombudsman&curid=1547386&diff=48705907&oldid=48701840], so it is possible that he accepts that it was without foundation. Midgley 16:13, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have not seen any evidence that she's a chiro. Depending on one's POV, it would either be an insult to chiros or an insult to anti-vaxers. BTW, is the commonly used expression "anti-vaxer" described here at Wikipedia? -- Fyslee 21:04, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
