- ... that Barbara L. Kelly (pictured), a musicologist at the Royal Northern College of Music and visiting professor at the Sorbonne, researched how French music around 1900 was represented in the press? Source: several

- Artcle is new, long enough and neıtral. It cites sources inline. Two missing citations are indicated. "Earwig's Copyvio Detector" reports two relative-high rated text similarities, which result mostly from entries in the "Selected writings" section, which is not included in the DYK text. Therefore, no problem for text similarities. The hook is well-formatted and interesting. Its length is within limit. Missing citation for the accuracy of the hook fact is indicated. QPQ was done. Image is included in the article, and is ©-free. I will aprove after the citation issue is addressed. CeeGee 11:56, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. I hope Aklein62 can help with referencing the youth. The hook fact is part of a quotation, first of two sentences. I think it would be nonsense to repeat the ref after the fist sentence, just for DYK. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:45, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for this initiative. About the first paragraph: I've received this information from Barbara Kelly directly. I have asked her if she can find a quotable source, and she is currently looking into the matter. Not sure, though, whether she can find any. If she can, it would be an old newspaper report. If not, we would have to live with the cn issue remaining open. – Aklein62 (talk) 13:00, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but that first paragraph needs some citations per Rule D2. If you cannot find a citation for her birthdate, you must remove it. BTW all facts in an article must be attributable to reliable, published sources. Hearing them from someone, even the subject herself, is not enough. Yoninah (talk) 00:15, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- I removed the unsourced birthdate but there are still a few "citation needed" tags. The nominator has indicated that he does not want to pursue the nomination. Yoninah (talk) 19:03, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- I removed the facts without ref. I understand that the author doesn't want to work more, but would find it sad if we wouldn't showcase her research, Yoninah. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:05, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

- The page creator doesn't agree with you, Gerda. Yoninah (talk) 21:42, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- I tried to focus on the subject, instead of us editors, but have to accept. We have many biographies that begin with studies. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:45, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- If the nominator no longer wishes for the nomination to continue, you will need to address the remaining concerns yourself if you still wish for this nomination to pass instead of being failed. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:07, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- I would no do that against his wish, and would have done it if I wanted. I tried be removing the section about her youth - as said above - but gave up when it was reverted. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:46, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
