Cleanup
[edit]The material added since this edit needs to be cleaned up to:
- wikilink relevant terms
- verify citations
- assure NPOV
- shift to an encyclopedic tone
--TreyHarris 08:51, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- agreed that the lengthy dissertation by the art history major needs to be cut down and weeded through!
Matt Groening
[edit]Also What is the justification for having Matt Groening as a link??
- I was wondering that myself. The person who added it is using an AOL ip, so we can't ask them unless they come back. I could've sworn I read something about someone involved with The Simpsons doing a video art piece (not related to The Simpsons) in some museum or another, but I'm 99% sure it wasn't Groening (Hank Azaria, maybe?). I went ahead and removed it until we figure it out. It probably isn't worth linking anyway... Recury 20:39, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Ash Keating
[edit]Would it be worth adding info on the controversy when Ash Keating took her work from the trash at ACCA and presented it in VCA as his own work?
- I don't think so, but if you can provide good citations for it and want to write it up, feel free. (p.s. please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~)) Cheers, Doctormatt 21:32, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Your Body is a Battleground
[edit]Shouldn't this piece be discussed? It seems to be her most prominent work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.229.176.104 (talk) 03:52, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Information underrepresented in biographical information. Context needs to be expanded upon to understand Kruger's initial start in art-makingJCROSBY (talk) 18:15, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
Context needs to be expanded upon in Life and work, not enough information, vague descriptionJCROSBY (talk) 18:15, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
Added contextual information to Kruger's early life/career page. There was not enough specific information on her early career path and what lead her to begin her text/imagery work. Description was vague and needed expanding and basic informative context.JCROSBY (talk) 19:23, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
External links were added to Kruger's early life. Links reference Kruger's college campus' and experience of study. JCROSBY (talk) 19:27, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
In the image used to represent the subject of the article, the subject is not visible at all.
[edit]All I see is her art, not herself. Could you please get a proper image that's either in the public domain or freely licensed in order to replace this shitty image? After we change the portrait, we could move the image to the body of the article because that's where the image better belongs in. Zakawer (talk) 19:34, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
Joel Wachs
[edit]The inclusion of Joel Wachs seems at odds with the rest of the list. There must be many other people who have also enabled Kruger to make public artworks. But perhaps I am missing something about the significance of this inclusion?
