[edit]I do need to show you any proof dreamguy, the proof is out there, you are not the police or keeper of this encyclopedia. Furthermore you are harrasing me by going and changing anything I have added. If you keep on harrasing me I will report you to the admin. Stay away from me and dont send me anymore personal messages, I will not tolerate you thinking you can tell me what is proper and what is not, this is an open source project that anyone can add to. If you would bother to take a look you will find that baphomet was worshipped as a fertility god. (unsigned, but by Khaosinfire)
- Please don't try to paint this as if I were harassing you, as other people removed thje same additions when you made them to Baphomet itself, as mentioned on Talk:Baphomet#Fertility cult?. If the information is really out there (and all the rest of us somehow missed it) then it should be trivial for you to provide a source, right? So, please do. As I explained to you on your talk page, the Wikipedia:Verifiability policy demands it in cases like this. If you feel the need to complain to an admin he or she will just tell you that I am right. This a disambiguation page my let me spell it out for you. dis·am·big·u·ate To establish a single grammatical or semantic interpretation for.
You have once again left me a private message after I told you not to, you keep on messing with anything I have added, you really have a problem and you are harrasing me. You are in a sence stalking me by going over anything I have added, if you keep up I will report you to the admin & I will be forced to find your IP address and report you to your ISP and the proper authoritys. you are targeting me and I will not be silent or stand for it. I just wonder how many other people like me that you do not like our "sources". You are no god, you do not run this encyclopedia so go find someone else to target and LEAVE ME ALONE. I am not playing leave me alone and do not send me any more private messages, I am logging everything that is going on here and I will use this information against you.(unsigned, but by Khaosinfire)
- I didn't send you any private messages, I posted to your talk page, warning you that you violated 3RR and once again requesting you follow policy and provide a source for the information you keep adding no matter who removes it. I am simply following policy and doing what editors are supposed to do here at Wikipedia. DreamGuy 01:30, August 23, 2005 (UTC)
Disambiguation?
[edit]There's only one article about Baphomet, so why do we need a disambiguation page? I propose that all this material be moved to the main Baphomet article. (unsigned, but by User:Pterodactyler)
There's only one article about Baphomet the demonic icon, but Baphomet is used in other ways in relationship to other articles... that's also a use for disambiguation pages. The bulleted points very clearly are disambiguations. (You can ignore that last bit, that's some unsourced falsehoods another editor put there and I can't remove right now without violating WP:3RR policy (not that the person putting it there is following that policy). That'll disappear as soon as someone else watching the page signs on.) DreamGuy 04:32, August 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll agree that the Slip song and the Clive Barker character are legitimate disambiguations. I'm not so sure about "Horns ov Baphomet" and "Baphomet's Throne," though. These songs are not called simply "Baphomet" and are therefore not alternate meanings for the name Baphomet. And the Baphomet they are referring to is the demonic icon, not some other meaning. I don't think they belong here, any more than, say, the song "Roll Over, Beethoven" belongs on a Beethoven disambiguation page. Perhaps these songs could be mentioned in the "Baphomet in popular culture" section of the main article rather than on the disambiguation page.
