Sydney Metro

[edit]

The conversion of the line to the Sydney Metro is a heavy rail rapid transit project, not a light rail or even light metro. As the project's website makes clear, the line will be able to convey 100,000 passengers per hour, a higher capacity than most typical light rail/metro systems. If you disagree with this, please state your reasons here. Wcp07 (talk) 01:13, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As reported on the project's website, the Bankstown metro will be able to convey 40,000 passengers per hour, compared to the current Sydney Trains capacity of 24,000 passengers per hour. Stick to neutral descriptions and avoid loaded words like "downgrade" and "low capacity". Wcp07 (talk) 09:34, 26 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
