Spelling of the species name
[edit]This name should be corrected. Article 60.11 of the code of nomenclature specifies that there should be no "i" before the "ana". Nadiatalent (talk) 12:33, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
- Oops! As User:Melburnian has pointed out at Talk:Grevillea hookeriana, the "i" is correct. The name is adjectival in form, not possessive. Nadiatalent (talk) 12:35, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Acorn Banksia
[edit]This article says that Hooker's Banksia is also known as the Acorn Banksia, but that's [Banksia prionotes]. It should at least say 'sometimes mistaken for'? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2406:2D40:2064:3210:6046:C0F3:457:5397 (talk) 13:13, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
