Facts have been added with proofs which can be verified at Melmaruvathur. Many books are available to prove that the biography of Bangaru Adigalar considering him as an incarnation and spiritual guru as presented in this article is verifiable .

I've reverted back to my previous edits. Here are the reasons. The page was non neutral with improper spelling and grammer. It contained unverified information. I added information (with reference), which you simply erased. I tried to follow Wikipedia style guide in my editing, in order to improve the page. The page contained a bunch of external links to sites that the individual owns, but no third party references. If you want to include some properly referenced information into the page, by all means, but simply reverting the page back to the way it was means reverting it to improperlly formated state which will require a bunch of tags and further involvement. And, please it's best if you sign with this mark, using four of these ~, at the end of your writing here on the talk page. Thank you, Nihola (talk) 16:33, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting help

[edit]

I've requested help with the issues of reverting that have been going on. Hopefully some outside assistance will help get the article on the right track. Nihola (talk) 16:35, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Following is the conversation that occured on the user talk pages. I've moved it here so that we can continue the conversation, and involve the other editors interested in this article.

Hello Boldandstrong, I'm writing to you because I notice that you have been reverting all the editing work on page Bangaru Adigalar for quite awhile now. I understand that you feel strongly about this person, but when you simply revert back to an older edit, you remove ALL the editing, all improvements. I worked hard on this article, and was able to remove some of the warning tags, and you simple removed all this work. Now you have done the same with User talk:TheRingess's edits. Reverting pages multiple times like this is quite aggresive and is called revert war behavior; it is stongly discouraged. I will not engage in this behavior with you, but I am going to ask for help from an administrator.

Below is the link to the recommendations for writing articles about living persons. Please notice the importance of neutrality and reliable secondary sources. I hope you will familiarize yourself (selves) with this information, and that we can all move forward together on this article. Nihola (talk) 15:51, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons

Hi Nihola..

Ya I do agree with you that reverting pages many a times seems aggressive.. I am very new to wikiproject and editing articles. And ya its true that I do feel strongly for the person. I also understand that you are trying to edit it based on the RULES OF WIKIPEDIA (thanks for the link Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons ) . I will take help of few knowledgeable people and see to it that the article fits according to wikipedia rules. But what made me revert back is that POSITIVE LINKS and INFORMATION are deleted and is replaced only by some other(negative) LINKS which was copied from a local newspaper article(The article was politically motivated and was published only in one or two newspaper). The famous news paper Times Of India( the number one daily in India which publishes only genuine news , did not publish that article because the truth was that the raid was politically motivated and intentionally done ).

Next time before editing , I will be careful so as to maintain NEUTRALITY :) :)

regards Bold And Strong

Thank you for responding to the note I had left here on your talk page. (It is best if you do not erase things written by other users on talk pages, as it makes it more difficult for others to understand the issues.)

Since you are so new to editing, it's a good idea not to be too extreme in your edits, and to take the time to read the information that has been provided to you on your talk page by a welcomer, in order to familiarize yourself with how to make a good article. Also, it's important as an editor to be able to work with other editors. If you do not want something you've written edited or altered, then it's best not to write it in the first place.

As it stands today, the article is not well written or formatted, is not sourced with solid secondary sources, and does not establish notability. Therefore it is very vulnerable to deletion. The February 18th version of the article, my last edit work on the page, had these things. If you have issue with one aspect of the February 18th version, then let's talk about it on the article's talk page, which is here - Talk:Bangaru Adigalar. I would much prefer to revert the article to my February 18th version, and together move forward.

I'm going to post our conversation on the article's talk page, and hope we can continue the conversation there.

Please do not write directly on my user page; I have User talk:Nihola that can be used, although I'd prefer we talked on the article talk page, which I linked to before.

Please sign your posts with four of these symbols, ~ , usually located in the top left of your keyboard. This lets other users know who wrote the note. Thanks. Nihola (talk) 18:50, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • 86.150.245.174 Please stop blanking the article. That is vandalism. The article is being discussed and will be improved or up for a deletion process shortly. If you have opinions about the page, then feel free to discuss them here. Nihola (talk) 01:35, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Moving Forward

[edit]

As I have not heard back from Boldandstrong, I'm going to revert the article back to the February 18th version, where I worked to address the tags that were on the page. I hope that we can go from this point to improve the page. Remember that information needs to be backed up by secondary sources. If you are not sure what that means, please look here - Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. Just because you disagree with a referenced piece of information, doesn't mean you should delete it. Unreferenced material, on the other hand, really can go at any time. If the vandalism and reversions begin again, we'll have to decide what to do next. I'm not starting over here. Nihola (talk) 01:47, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have contacted Nihola regarding this article and have told that as I am busy with my work , I will be getting back soon and collect few more details about the Biography of Bangaru Adigalar and enhance this article to make sure that it contains relavant non-neutral information regarding the person. And as I am new to editing , I have assured [Nihola]] that I would not be making any random edits from now on.So with the things I have learnt so far in wiki, I too request other users not to blank the article, It will be of no use. Thank You Boldandstrong (talk) 08:46, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Section blanking...again.

[edit]

There is repeated blanking of this article or sections of the article. This time the blanking is of the following section:

Income Tax Investigation

[edit]

In 2010, Adigalar's premises and offices were raided by India's Income Tax Investigation Department[1] and a large amount of money and gold was seized.[2]
