Peer review request
[edit]Up for peer review rather quickly. Probably needs a copy edit to be sure. New information will be added as well, please peer review whatever is here at the time. Thanks.A mcmurray (talk • contribs) 15:40, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Even though I didn't participate in the Peer Review, as a project member I do give this write-up a "B".--Kranar drogin 03:11, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
GA pass
[edit]I have reviewed the article and found it to meet GA criteria. I do however have a few suggestions, that might help further improve the article. Firstly the sentance "The description in the 1909 Historical Encyclopedia of Illinois was somewhat more tame" just doesnt sit quite right with me, the tame is a bit too subjective. Secondly the historical chronology of the article ends with "The lynching of the Driscolls did not spell the end of the Regulators nor the Banditti, but it did serve to greatly decrease Banditti activity in Ogle County." So when did the Banditti activity finally cease, when was the last of them captured, killed or died of natural causes etc (or perhaps ive msised this?). Thirdly some of the sections just seem long, in that perhaps the information might be more concise e.g. do we need so much background? I dont think any of these points are worth placing on hold but rather need to be addressed if the article is to continue to improve beyond GA. Finally Im not sure I'd like to live in the Prairies.... Good work. LordHarris 23:50, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

GA Sweeps Review: Pass
[edit]As part of the WikiProject Good Articles, we're doing sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria. I'm specifically going over all of the "Culture and Society" articles. I believe the article currently meets the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. I have made several minor corrections throughout the article. Altogether the article is well-written and is still in great shape after its passing in 2007. Continue to improve the article making sure all new information is properly sourced and neutral. It would also be beneficial to go through the article and update all of the access dates of the inline citations and fix any dead links. If possible, see if any more external links can be added. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I have updated the article history to reflect this review. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 20:52, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
