The result of the move request was: not moved. Typically, the commonest name used in English-language sources is recommended over official name and there was no evidence presented that the proposed target was the commoner form in English-language sources. Banco Mercantil → Mercantil Banco – From 2007 Banco Mercantil changed it´s name to Mercantil Banco. See Mercantil Banco in spanish Andresope (talk) 23:58, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. The official name is of little relevance. Is it perhaps worth relisting to ask Andrescope to make a valid case? They do appear to be a single issue account so the question of WP:COI should be asked, but this does not of course disqualify their right to raise an RM. Comment Andrescope redirected this page (Banco Mercantil) to Mercantil Servicios Financieros, so I'm not sure what's going on here. Natg 19 (talk) 08:45, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Correction to my post and to the above... it's Andresope, not Andrescope. My mistake. Eleven contributions, including a cut and paste move of this page [1], which has significant history and so must now be restored. No user page or user talk page yet. Current situation

This is a section to parallel rather then be part of the RM.

I have reverted [2] the cut-and paste from Banco Mercanti. The history of that article needs to be kept with its content.

According to the article Mercantil Servicios Financieros owns Banco Mercantil. Perhaps there is a suggestion to merge these articles? Andrewa (talk) 10:26, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
