[edit]Alumni - well done. History? Pictures? References? Can do better. Welcome Victuallers 09:04, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Was Mary Peters not educated at Portadown College?
Not sure, but her biography says she moved to Ballymena at 11, so it is plausible she went to Ballymena Academy, at least for a time. Garethhamilton 18:56, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
I always thought she went to Portadown College as well, is there any actual evidence to support either claim?
Humorous joke
[edit]How many times will 'mature' be changed to 'immature'? Getting boring. Garethhamilton 13:06, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm...
[edit]I've always wondered, how come WE HAVE A PICTURE OF A MEERKAT, A BUG AND TWO HANDS!!!??? It's kinda weird, I DO like the latin on the badge.
I had the dubious honour of attending the school, and I seem to recall that the ant represented hard work. 204.9.5.171 18:50, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
And I notice it actually says that now on the main page. Obviously they didn't teach me to read things first... 204.9.5.171 18:51, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
I went there
[edit]I went to that school!Did anyone else here?
Bias
[edit]It has come to my attention that this article is bias, in favour of the school. Wikipeida articles have always had a policy of remaining neutral. Examples of "biasness" in a recent edit has described it as "the constant high standard..." and "obviously the school is renowned...".
To make the matter worse, the school has threatened legal action if anyone edits the page. An edit (made by a user who's edits have involved the school before, leading one to believe they are from the school,) has stated
"[It should be noted that any edits of this page can and will be traced to the user's IP address. Prompt legal action will be taken.]"
This seems to me more like an advertisment than a Wikipedia article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RPGary (talk • contribs) 00:23, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've tagged this as {{unreferenced}}, and removed one or two obvious bits of bias. The legal threat was added by 91.125.121.25 (talk · contribs), who has now been warned because making such threats are against Wikipedia's rules. --h2g2bob (talk) 01:45, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
