From the comment that this Ballyglass is a small village in central County Mayo, situated about 10 miles from Castlebar, and closer to Claremorris and Ballinrobe. It seems unlikely that this is the location of the RNLI base and boat. The Placenames Database of Ireland [1]includes several townlands known as Ballyglass in Mayo. Anyone have the local knowledge to sort this out? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Belmonter (talkcontribs) 17:10, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the photo of the lifeboat. The RNLI lifeboat station is in the townland of Ballyglass north of Belmullet in N.W. County Mayo. I tried but was unable to move the photo to the gallery section on the RNLI page. Belmonter (talk) 13:16, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
