This article is wrong!
I wanted to change it but it didn't work. It's not only the tower you can see today. The tower was restored in 1934. The castle was demolished but rebuilt in 1935. When rebuilding the castle the architects changed the look a bit. (They built the little bridge that connects the tower with the main building for example.) It looks the same since then. You can see it on the picture above how it looks today: The tower, the main building and the former house for the horseman (that is a youth hostel nowadays). You can also see the city wall below the buildings. Also the castle buildings look the same today, the surrounding has changed a bit. The city wall was restored some years ago and the embankment with the waterfall got a new look, too. |
