In reworking the History section I changed the first sentence, previously "The Balikh river forms the live stream of a rich cultural region." This seemed clearer to me, since the phrase "live stream" (in reference to a watercourse rather than its modern meaning of a communications link) was unsual. But I wonder, is this perhaps a term of art in archaeology or the translation of a phrase from another language, e.g. German or Dutch, which deserves more consideration? Looks to me like it was written by someone with English as second language. I say, go ahead and change it.--Zoeperkoe (talk) 14:30, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I added a site, Tell Zeidan based on an article I found at http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/04/100406133712.htm The article describes the site of an advanced trading civilization from 6,000 to 4,000 B.C. They engaged in long distance trade of some 200 miles to the north in Turkey and riparian trade with Ubaid culture to the south. By 5300 B.C. the culture became predominantly Ubaid. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.172.49.104 (talk) 21:41, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
