Bala and Festiniog Railway map diagram
[edit]The map diagram shows incorrectly the Festiniog Railway has branching south west from Blaenau Festiniog Central (GWR) station. The correct showing on the map is for the Festinog Railway to be shown running (north) adjacent to the Trawfynndd Link to adjacent to the LNWR station before heading "north west". The Trawsfynndd Link was actually built by BR along part of the original Festiniog Railway trackbed of the line to Dinas. I regret I am not able to correct the map myself as I cannot amend the computer coding.Steamybrian2 (talk) 15:06, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
Heritage railway preservation attempts
[edit]I think there may be more than one group involved. I can't find a website for Trawsfynydd and Blaeneau Community Railway but there is this crowdfunder page [1] and this facebook page [2]. More to follow. Roberttherambler (talk) 00:45, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
- There is also company number 10378551 TRAWSFYNYDD RAILWAY COMPANY LTD on webcheck[3]. Roberttherambler (talk) 00:47, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
- And New Blaenau Ffestiniog & Trawsfynydd Railway society [4]. Roberttherambler (talk) 00:51, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
