[edit]Someone please put a public domain pic of Prof Bala and give proper inline references. I have given one and was facing technical difficulties in giving others ~ Purnendu
- I have added a photo request, I don't know where to find a public domain pic.--Commander Keane (talk) 01:43, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- I suggest that the article should be renamed from "Padma Shri Prof. Bala V. Balachandran" to "Bala V. Balachandran". This is because the Padma Shri is an award by the government of India and "prof." is his profession. This is a photo of Bala V. Balachandran - http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2428/3886366370_87fa63b814.jpg I am not editing the article since I am new to wiki and am still learning how to edit articles. Death date
[edit]Both The Hindu and The Times of India report his death as being on Tuesday 28 September, so that is what I have put in the article for now, but when their articles were published it was around midnight in Chicago on the night of 27/28 September, so I would not be surprised if he actually died on 27th.
