[edit]Is the third edition now in the public domain? Chubbles (talk) 20:03, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'd guess no, because it's still actively published (until recently under the same editor) so I can't believe they wouldn't have renewed the copyright. But then I'm not sure why it's at archive.org. It could be that archive.org made a mistake; they label it as "1900" (the date of the first edition) when it's actually the 1958 edition that they're displaying. --Delirium (talk) 20:45, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Concise 8th Edition
[edit]I've just bought myself a copy of "The Concise Edition of Baker's Biographical Dictionary of Musicians, Eighth Edition" at a second-hand shop for $2. What a bargain! But we make no mention of it here. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 03:49, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
