Final results
[edit]All the results are in the separate articles. This (scoreboard) seems unnecessary to put in the main article. I'm asking if we should remove the whole section. Wikiproject Badminton participants please give your statement below : {Stvbastian, Timothytyy, Fahrurozi.86 (the one who added them actually)} zoglophie 08:53, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
Alternative 2 : We can also put the list of winners in the main article, similar to others like Asian Championships. zoglophie 08:55, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Do you mean the "finals" section? What is the problem of keeping the section? I oppose deletion of section but supports removing the "score" column. Timothytyy (talk) 10:53, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- There is no problem, it is only to maintain the normal structure in other badminton articles where each edition has it's own page. Don't you think if the information is already covered by making separate pages like Badminton at the 1966 Asian Games & after 1986 even subpages (distinct articles for all disciplines) were started?
- Also, I'm planning to make a table which will highlight only the winners similar to Asian Badminton Championships, Badminton at the East Asian Games etc. Rest information is totally covered in split articles. zoglophie 15:17, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Neutral for your proposal. The table is quite complicated but I think it is fine to keep all the finalists of an event that is only held every four years. Again, I support removing the finals' scores. Timothytyy (talk) 01:04, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- Agree to Zoglophie proposal. Remove the finals section and added only the table of the winners similar to Asian Badminton Championships, Badminton at the East Asian Games etc. This is why we linked this article to another articles, so readers can open the link and found another information there.
