Reported attack site?

[edit]

When i try to access the official website of BWF, my browser tells me that Google has identified the website as reported attack site. I wonder if a reminder/warning should be placed beside the link at the bottom of the page to caution people who are trying to click it. TZGreat (talk) 17:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Current name

[edit]

I think the title of this article should be Badminton World Federation, because it's the current official name. MontanNito 14:32, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, I will change it. I already changed EBU to BE. Gemertp 23:14, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:BWF logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:BWF logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Deletion

[edit]

This deletion is wholly non-sensical. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Badminton_World_Federation&diff=1091968584&oldid=1091758793

This is a ban by BWF. Of course it belongs on this page.

If you disagree, let's get a few admins involved (perhaps rowing-interested admin User:Schwede66 has a view) -- that's the oddest argument I've hear in a while, and frankly completely baseless -- of course there are pages of international governing bodies that mete out bans that reflect such bans on the page of the body meting it out. Absolutely false to say that that is not the case. And illogical.

Thanks for your random editor comment, but it's wrong and does not make any sense.--2603:7000:2143:8500:B8DD:3AE3:3FCD:5018 (talk) 05:36, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
