Reviewing this real soon. I only know Bad Bunny by name, so I hope this will be a completely subjective review, (talk) 04:06, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]
  • Any specific information on the record label that he was first signed to?
  • breakthrough single "Soy Peor" Did it chart on any chart?
  • Ditto with the popular singles
  • I don't think you need to indicate the Vega Baja municipality as it's not considered notable
  • For the infobox: keep birth place in the format (city, country), neighborhood should be excluded

Early life

[edit]
  • Link salsa, merengue, ballad (or any music genre wherever possible)
  • Is Bad Bunny mostly known as a rapper or a singer? If he is well known as both, I would suggest avoiding elegant variations such as "the rapper", "the singer"... Keep it either "Martinez" or "Bad Bunny", wherever possible

Career beginnings

[edit]
  • YouTube views should not be included
  • Be consistent with either "remix" or "re-mix"

Int'l success

[edit]
  • hit number-one → hit number one
  • It says that "Mia" peaked at number 5, but the lead says that it peaked at number 3. Please revise this
  • The Instagram bit can be removed because it's trivial
  • Avoid unattributed quotes i.e. "windswept 80s stadium rock" (see WP:ATTRIBUTION)
  • Link Alexis Petridis
  • including specially-priced student tickets isn't this a common practice? I'd suggest removing it
  • The chemistry between the two was so strong "The chemistry" is confusing. Do you mean the working relationship or their performance on the song?
  • The song garnered 2.5 million views on YouTube within a day of its release.[42] Trivia

More coming soon. In the meantime, feel free to proceed @Basilisk4u:. (talk) 04:11, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

YHLQMDLG, Las que no iban a salir and El Último Tour Del Mundo

[edit]
  • Bad Bunny announced the album YHLQMDLG on February 27, 2020, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Is this necessary?
  • at the time is vague and should be replaced with i.e. as of (...)
  • The album title was first mentioned during a sequence of the accompanying music video Again, not really relevant to this article. This can be discussed at the album's article, but not here
  • Songs from the album were played on an Instagram live stream Again, not significant/relevant to this article
  • third solo studio album (fourth overall) Las que no iban a salir vs. third studio album, El Último Tour Del Mundo This is confusing

Artistry

[edit]
  • The samples are too long (per WP:NFCC non-free audio samples should be no longer than 10% of the original song). Take "Si Veo a Tu mama", for example, the sample should be maximum 17 seconds because the original length is 2:50

The rest of the article looks good. Putting this on hold for seven days until my concerns are addressed, (talk) 03:50, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Thanks so much for your review, I'll get on it as soon as possible :) Just started holiday break from teaching. Basilisk4u (talk) 07:59, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Basilisk4u: No worries. Just ping me when you're ready. If it takes too long (> 2 weeks), however, I may as well fail this... so plan ahead! (talk) 06:35, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
After two weeks of inactivity, I regret to fail this GAN, though very unfortunate Should you wish to renominate this, make sure to resolve my points here before proceeding. Good luck, (talk) 07:26, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
