Backtracks (AC/DC album)Backtracks — That name is currectly being occupied by another album, which has measly hits (according to this tool). The AC/DC album is clearly the main topic with more than 700 hits everyday. See here. --Suede67 (talk) 16:57, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: I will do it. Should this be done now, or after the move is completed? Suede67 (talk) 06:36, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, ok, thats fine. Suede67 (talk) 20:55, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Remove AC/DC Backtracks website from External Links?

[edit]

As discussed in more detail on the main AC/DC talk page, I think the Backtracks box set sales site link in the external links should be removed as it's against following rule in External links/Links normally to be avoided

  • Individual web pages that primarily exist to sell products or services

If no one sees a valid reason to keep this link, I will remove it. Wantnot (talk) 23:15, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dates of November 1983 Live Songs on Disc 2

[edit]

The article lists the five songs from Detroit on disc 2 (tracks 8-12) as being from a 17 November 1983 show. However, the information on the Backtracks packaging says that they're from 18 November.

As far as I can tell, AC/DC played the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit in 1983 on both the 17th and 18th of November, and "This House is on Fire" (disc 2, track 11), was indeed only played on the 17th. (Apart from this track, all the others were performed at both shows, so I can't comment on them.)

I assume that one of the editors of the article is a fan who is certain that all five tracks are actually from 17 November and not the 18 November show. In this case, think a comment should be added somewhere in the article to make it clear that the date of 18 November listed on the packaging is wrong, and that the date of 17 November given in the Wikipedia article is actually a correction to the official track list.

Without a comment pointing out this detail, I think readers will assume, as I first did, that "17 November" is just a typo and may even try to "correct" it back to 18 November as stated on the packaging.

Thank you.
