Release date

[edit]

I'm working for the official Babylon AD MySpace blog with Guillaume Colboc from MNP - the assistant to Mr. Kassovitz. According to him there is still no release date set. The date which has been advertised in the net is just a rumour. So, anybody who feels incharge for this site - please adjust! Thanks! --Silsin 22:27, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • As nobody changed the site up till today, I removed the release date. Unfortunately I hit a wrong key so my change comment was crap. Sorry.

The source for the info is Guillaume Colboc, assistant to Matthieu Kassovitz.--Silsin 10:06, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

David Belle

[edit]

David Belle was the stunt coordinator in the filming, which is now ended, now the film is in the editing stage. But I think a trivia should be added for this because of various parkour scenes shown in the movie. --201.230.147.97 15:36, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, and I read a official cinema blurb just now where he escorts her from Russia to GERMANY. It seems the poor guy doesn't even knwo where he's going! Ingolfson (talk) 11:19, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is CE not AD

Please change your archaic references142.176.115.145 (talk) 02:02, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The film is specifically titled this way. We don't personally deem such titling to be "archaic" and edit it to suit ourselves -- it's not neutral. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 02:04, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But isn't it Wikipedia's policy to present the most encyclopedic references? Isn't AD a Christian point of view? Yes or no?142.176.115.145 (talk) 02:10, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We don't alter intended titles that include this method of dating. It's not an actual presentation of a date, it's a creative aspect of the title like One Million Years B.C. and 10,000 BC. Wikipedia doesn't override such creative presentations, only actual date formatting. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 02:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On top of that "AD" / "BC" is not a "point of view" anymore than the use of the gregorian calendar, it's just the dating system normally used in english. Though some prefer the Common Era notation (CE/BCE), Wikipedia does not have a policy concerning what notation should be used, merely requesting consistency throughout an article (See WP:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)). Let's not be silly. 82.231.41.7 (talk) 20:53, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Soundtrack news

[edit]

Before I mess up any of the code I'll post the soundtrack related news here and hope someone has mercy and edits the respective articles. Links to the original sources follow below.

According to scoreviews.com, themoneytimes.com and roadrunnerecords.com, composer Atli Örvarsson is working on the soundtrack together with Hans Zimmer, as well as Shavo from System of a Down and The RZA from Wu-Tang Clan. Shavo's and RZA's new band Achozen will perform much of the score's music.
