Fair use rationale for Image:Babybird.gif

[edit]

Image:Babybird.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:33, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger

[edit]

Don't really agree with the proposed merger with Stephen Jones (Baby Bird), but if there is to be a merger, it is the Stephen Jones (Baby Bird) article that should stay, since it covers more ground (ie Babybird is part of the story of Stephen Jones, not vice versa). --CarlManchester 13:28, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is / Are

[edit]

It should be "Babybird are a British Indie band formed in 1995" as opposed to "Babybird is a British Indie band formed in 1995" - personally I find the noun-confusing American system very irritating, but if you check Wikipedia guidelines, basically if it refers to a UK act then it should be "U2 are touring" as opposed to "U2 is touring". Perhaps the main writer of the article could correct this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.163.155.196 (talk) 20:49, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Brian Hendry

[edit]

The first sentence in the Career section, "Brian Hendry AVC thats where all the money went.", seems out of context and makes no sense. Is this a mistake or a deliberate random inclusion? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.231.128.75 (talk) 15:57, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
