Where does the info come from that Babb’s Switch was named for Edith Babcock (my great grandmother)? My family information is that it was named for her father, Smith Hull Babcock, who was a feed salesman in the Kiowa County area. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkshrews (talk • contribs) 16:09, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
- The only source I have found for the community name in a Google search is Shirk's book, Place Names in Oklahoma. This is now in the articles's list of references. Bruin2 (talk) 19:37, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
