I see no reason why this redirect should target the disambiguation page. "Google and some good faith" accomplishes nothing here. If the others are notable enough to have a mention on Wikipedia, so be it, but until there is evidence on this site that there are other mystics known as "Baba" the edit stands. Just because you don't see despite having first asked on my talk page and not bothered to wait for a reply is simply no excuse for pigheadedly assuming that you are nonetheless correct. I'm copying below my reply on my talk page which you couldn't be bothered to wait for.

As described on the Wiktionary page, "baba" derived from Hindi is a generic term meaning holy man or spiritual leader. Many Hindu mystics have baba as part of their names or as an honorific. For example, consider the following "babas" who were also considered to be mystics:

• Meher Baba
• Sathya Sai Baba
• Sai Baba of Shirdi
• Baba Taher
• Neem Karoli Baba
• Aglar Baba
• Hariakhan Baba
• Baba Sali
• Qalander Baba Auliya
• Baba Deep Singh
• Baba Budan
• Baba Fakruddin
• Baba Hari Dass

It is highly ambiguous to make a redirect such as Baba (mystic) point to a single person. older ≠ wiser 01:21, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Bkonrad is correct. In Hindi Baba simply means father, grandfather, old man or ascetic and is used to refer to innumerable holy men, or simply as a mark of respect towards the elderly. I agree that Baba (mystic) should be redirected to the disamb page where this and other meanings of Baba can be added for clarity.
