When starting a new article, do not use sources of taxonomic information that predate the 2017 revision for all gastropod groups ("Revised Classification, Nomenclator and Typification of Gastropod and Monoplacophoran Families" by Philippe Bouchet & Jean-Pierre Rocroi, Bernhard Hausdorf, Andrzej Kaim, Yasunori Kano, Alexander Nützel, Pavel Parkhaev, Michael Schrödl and Ellen E. Strong in Malacologia, 2017, 61(1–2): 1–526.) (can be dowloaded at Researchgate.net), substituting the previous classification of 2005 Taxonomy of the Gastropoda (Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005). The article says, "The holotype was collected in dense forest on Mount Nangaranambulata at an elevation of 2,700–32,000 ft (820–9,750 m)," but according to the Wikipedia article on Fiji its highest point is 1,324 m (4,344 ft). While it may be technically correct, it seems unlikely the specimen was collected higher than the highest point, so perhaps the range should be narrowed to only include possible collection altitudes, that is assuming these gastropods don't have wings and aren't capable of flying at airliner altitudes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:648:8403:E550:E0F7:D82F:9813:2227 (talk) 07:17, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
