Famous people

[edit]

I removed Vojislav Brajić, Aleksandar Rađenović, Goran Rađenović, and Miroslav Polić from the list of famous people - I could not find them on yahoo search engine, so there should be first some clarification that those persons are famous or notable and only then we can include them into the list. Also, for Žarko Šešum, Ratko Nikolić, Dragan Sudžum, and Sanja Papić there should be also clarification about their connection to Bačka Palanka - they are famous and can be found on yahoo search engine, but I cannot find data what is their connection with the city - were they born here, lived here, or what? According to their articles on Wikipedia Ratko Nikolić was born in Arandjelovac and Sanja Papić in Novi Sad. Aca Seltik (Aleksandar Petrović) is as far as I know from Belgrade, but might be born somewhere else. Couldn't find any information. He certainly isn't known for being an Orthodox Brother (by religion, yes), but as the singer of the band "Orthodox Celts". So I changed that.--80.133.190.197 (talk) 12:34, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"In the 11th century, this area was populated by Serbs"?

[edit]

The source given mentions "Slavic Serbian toponyms" as a proof of Serbian presence, but what makes these Slavic names Serbian? No further explanation is given, so I think the claim is unsourced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zhmr (talkcontribs) 11:41, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
