Bennett
When I took Lehman's BMI workshop in LA, he told a story about Michael Bennett's having taken the workshop, and having been so thankful for it, that for Lehman's 70th birthday (I believe it was) he gave Lehman fifty 100 dollar bills, fanned and framed. But this is not mentioned here in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop page, nor on Michael Bennett's page. Can anyone corroborate this? Goingtoala (talk) 17:52, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Excessive and Duplicative Lists
There's too much duplication of material in these lists. Is it really necessary to have separate lists for people, musicals, and films? You've got Ahrens and Flaherty under Participants, then Ragtime and Anastasia under Musicals. Same for Alan Menken and the Lopezes. I mean, how far do you want to take this? Why not keep going till we add all the stage adaptations of Menken's Disney movies, then add the movies themselves on the movie list, etc.?
I think one list for the people's names would be enough. Curious readers can follow the links to see what they've done. Just Another Cringy Username (talk) 02:37, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- I disagree. The first list is specifically for notable works developed at the workshop, not for the participants' other works. The problem is not that the lists are too long, but that the body of the article greatly needs expansion and fleshing out. -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:27, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
