Photo in upper right hand corner of article taken in Portugal is of a BL 5.5 inch gun/howitzer, not of the 4.5 inch gun, which was not used by the Portuguese. The weapon is identifiable as a 5.5 inch by its shorter, thicker ordnance. That of the 4.5 inch gun was longer and more slender in appearance.SASH155 (talk) 01:44, 11 January 2013 (UTC)SASH155 W.Thomas Alex,VA
- Thanks for pointing that out. I've replaced it with an image of undisputed identification from IWM Duxford. Rcbutcher (talk) 13:04, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
Hi Graeme noticed your edits I also just read the talk page and realised why Duxford was chosen over the other image. I think the image you put in place of my one looks great and is better than the Duxford one I just changed it out as I thought it did not show enough of the gun. It was just a mistake placing in the old disputed image was not aware of it being disputed and it just seemed like a really good image. I'll be more careful in future I want all the images I post to be correct! Anonymous contributor 1707 (talk) 14:00, 27 January 2021 (UTC).
Ok found a neat video that shows this gun in action.Put it in see also as I believe putting it below the references means people will miss it Anonymous contributor 1707 (talk) 16:34, 1 February 2021 (UTC).
