[edit]I was led to this article through User:Jebba's talkpage (Jebba, who has donated $125,000 to WMF). I plan to track down more sources for this, so that hopefully if it comes to an AfD it won't be deleted with two delete !votes vs. two keep !votes. Avruch T 22:12, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, but where is the edit history? --AVRS (talk) 12:38, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have no ability to restore it. Avruch T 17:08, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think donations should not influence discussions about the relevance of articles. Particularly, if the donator and the subject of the article are related. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.135.59.93 (talk) 11:36, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Richard Stallman mentioned BLAG, GNU and Ututo when asked which distro he recommended during his speech at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2005, Oddly Worded?
[edit]"Richard Stallman mentioned BLAG, GNU and Ututo when asked which distro he recommended during his speech at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2005."
In my opinion, this can be confusing to readers, as it says he recommended GNU as a distro, GNU, is not a distro in the tense that BLAG and UTUTO were described. This is confusing and oddly worded, and it has no citation, any recommendations how to fix this? Ziiike (talk) 22:43, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
History
[edit]Hey, I started BLAG and stopped maintaining it, oh, days(?) after the lame AfD votes got this page removed a few years back.... The wiki has disappeared afaict, but if anyone ever wants to see some history of BLAG, the wayback machine has a copy of the original roadmap: http://web.archive.org/web/20090127043208/http://wiki.blagblagblag.org/Roadmap Jebba (talk) 03:53, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
new version?
[edit]Surfing around, i found a LiveCD 160k from December 2011 here: ftp://blag.fsf.org/160000/en/iso/ Should this version not also mentioned? Is this the last version? -- 80.245.147.81 (talk) 12:39, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
