structure entry

Can someone confirm that this is true?

"Mary Ellen Trott BBG #546 of the Red River Region spells N'siah, N'seeyah. Another way of saying this word is "Donnal ipman". Rather than using the word "Sh'licha," Mary Ellen Trott BBG uses "Randy," which means female correspondant. Additionally, instead of S'ganit, MET BBG uses "Davidal Bery". These differences in officer terminology is evident in Artical II, Chapter 3, Section 7 of MET BBG's Constitution."

Small correction

I just made a small grammar correction. The page originally said:

"the mission of both groups as a whole is to provide Jewish youth opportunity to form leadership skills and to commit to their own personal development as well."

I just didn't think that was worded well. Changed it to "the mission of both groups as a whole is to provide Jewish youth opportunities to form leadership skills and to commit to their own personal development."

unnecessary information

i really dont think the following belonged in the "stucture" of BBYO

Aleph Ben Schmidt and Jon Schutkin of Genesis AZA served as back-to-back Grand Aleph Sh'lichim from 2000-2001, marking the first time two members of the same chapter served on Grand Board in subsequent years.

It's supposed to be a general summary of the structure of BBYO and not get into specifics. I would say that that information would be good if one would like to create a "random facts" page on the AZA page.

Is it really necessary to include links to chapter websites? Unless they are really prominent chapters with an int'l reputation, I'm not sure that we should. If other chapters saw the links, they'd demand that theirs be posted too. Would we want links to a few 1,000 chapters.

Style

I reorganized the style in this and in Aleph Zadik Aleph. I also added some stuff. I think it would be beneficial if someone looked at them and made sure everything's correct.

B'nai B'rith Youth OrganizationBBYO — BBYO no longer stands for B'nai B'rith Youth Organization. BBYO split from B'nai B'rith about ten years ago, and in 2002 became a legally independent organisation, BBYO, Inc. Since then, BBYO has disassociated itself from its former expansion, and only refers to itself as BBYO, which is no longer an acronym. See the official website and recent history section. 84.92.117.93 (talk) 22:15, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Reference wanted

Hey everyone,

I´m searching for unprejudiced references. I couldn´t find any pages or articles, that did not belong to the community. Maybe you can find something interesting which helps to make the article less than advertising? With the information's we could also complete the category "Organizational model", which I started.

Thx! --Princheeseanastasia (talk) 09:45, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
