ident associations?

[edit]

does anyone believe some idents are purposely shown before certain genres? (i.e. "Wonder" seems to be shown before natural history programmes and "Offbeat" before comedy) Visokor (talk) 17:43, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indents

[edit]

This article needs some sort of description or definition of what an `indent' actually is. It is not clear to a lay person. Guild000 (talk) 21:21, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Idents "possibly inspired by" 1991 idents with little-no resemblance other than concept.

I feel like these connections seem a bit unfactual (sorry I forgot the correct word)

Authoritive: How is this similar to Paper Cut-Out??? Sure, there's *paper*, but I just don't see any other connection. Mind-Bending: I see no relation to Optics. Celebratory seems like a better option to put the Optics connection (as they both have similarly-colored fuzzy light things moving about). Celebratory: I get that the fuzzy light things are supposed to be fireworks, but Firecracker was about a 2 getting blown up with firecrackers. Seems like the opposite of celebratory. Absorbing: While Paint and Absorbing both have paint moving towards their respective channel symbols, the pacing of each is very different, and the calmness seems a lot more like Water or Silk, both also from the 1991 set. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.89.163.21 (talk) 21:46, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
