[edit]Great article. I'm pretty sure that the BBC broadcast some software in BASICODE in the mid-1980s. They also used a video software transmission system where a simple sensor was stuck to the top right hand corner of your TV screen, and a flashing dot on the screen was converted into a datastream. I forget the name, though --scruss 20:38, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- I belive you are right, I think at my parents house somewhere (it may have been thrown out) there is an original BBC branded tape with the basicode (version 2 I think) reader software for a number of computers on it and a number of examples encoded in basicode and i'm sure the manual with it talks about broadcasts of programs on the BBC.
