As a general note I have just taken several E.U. countries off the banded list for a number of artificial food colourants. Food colourants are decided at an E.U. level under common compitancies or something similar. Individual E.U. countries don't get to decide what is or is not permitted.

Chemical Structure

The structures in the line drawing and the ball-and-stick model are different (location of the azo on the sulfonatohydroxynaphthalene). Which is correct? TheMikrobe (talk) 10:00, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
