Is the current statement ("Some div tried to say he is russian, he is not. Azazul is from a german background, probably close to the village where his son nightcrawler was saved/grew.") really appropriate for the film character? There's nothing whatsoever in the film to indicate that he's German, and as the previous edit stated, he does have a strong Russian accent, as well as using typically Russian phrases. Considering the movie has changed backstory details from comic canon for other characters, it seems disingenuous to assert that this version of Azazel is German just because his comic counterpart operated in Germany.
