[edit]Could someone please post an explanation of why stamps would be issued in denominations such as 2+2 Annas (why not just put 4)? Thanks, Storkk (talk) 17:28, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
The first sum stands for the stamp's nominal value and the second one for what you actually have to pay. The difference usually goes for charity. 89.212.242.219 (talk) 19:13, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
