Juuban vs. Juban
[edit]"Juban" appears several times on this page. Are those references correct or should they all be "Juuban"? --69.0.80.123 16:43, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Juban is correct. Japanese drop the u on most words as it looks silly. Like Tokyo is really Toukyou but it is only helpful for non natives of Japanese so they can type it out correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.26.229.142 (talk) 09:13, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
Ayu
[edit]is hamasaki ayumi "internationally acclaimed"? I can't say I've heard much of her outside Japan, and even here she's not exactly a shooting star anymore. (More like burned out) Southsailor 15:22, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree. The group Puffy (Ami Yumi) is more "internationally acclaimed" than Hamasaki. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.26.229.142 (talk) 09:17, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
