Merge Barangay Alabang
[edit]This article links to Barangay Alabang and says "Large portion of it come from Barangay Alabang." I don't understand whether Barangay Ayala Alabang is the same thing as Barangay Alabang or not, but it seems like the articles should be merged. —Mu Mind (talk) 15:36, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Just to clarify to readers, the two are different barangays, though adjacent to each other. —seav (talk) 15:43, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa → Ayala Alabang – Per WP:UNDAB --RioHondo (talk) 16:14, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- Comment see WP:MOSPHIL and the debate currently going on at WikiProject Philippines concerning the naming of Filipino articles. -- 70.50.148.248 (talk) 00:11, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- Re Barangays, districts and villages such as Ayala Alabang are not covered by WP:MOSPHIL, so WP:AT policy prevails specifically WP:PRECISE and WP:CONCISE. -RioHondo (talk) 02:16, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- Support move as proposed. - WPGA2345 - ☛ 03:35, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
- Support. No need for "Muntinlupa" per WP:UNDAB. While there is an entity called "Ayala Alabang Village", this gated community is pretty much coterminous with the barangay except for a mall and and a small business district outside the gated community. No need for separate articles. —seav (talk) 16:18, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
