Proposed move.
[edit]Move Ayakashi to Ayakashi (anime). And then make this Ayakashi page redirect to a disambiguation page. This is bbecuase there are 2 series with the name Ayakashi and there is yet another anime series called Ayakashi coming out (though this one is based off a game so it's article will be Ayakashi (game). -- Psi edit 02:47, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Changed "Druggist" to "Medicine Seller"
[edit]The Medicine Seller was originally referred to as The Druggist in this article. I changed these references for consistency's sake (the Mononoke article calls him Medicine Seller) and also because "druggist" has connotations that seem inappropriate---unless that translation was explicitly given by the series creators, but as far as I can see, it wasn't. Without an official translation, let's consider community consensus: he's called Medicine Seller in all the fansubs I've seen, as well as by numerous English-language reviewers. Furthermore, in Mononoke, the character calls himself a "kusuriuri;" although I'm not a Japanese speaker, the online sources I found (example) suggest to me that "medicine peddler" or "medicine seller" is fairly accurate. If you want to change these references back, please explain why. Better yet, if you speak Japanese, please let us know what's correct. Thanks! 69.138.251.227 00:13, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Existence of the English Dub?
[edit]I know not a lot of people know/like it but Geneon did license the anime and released the arcs on Dvd for Bilingual release(English/Japanese) this year. It also has an official webiste for them listed here: www.samuraihorrortales.com . I'm a little confused why its existence was pretty much erased (I understand for the bakeneko cast though). Is it not worth mentioning in the article? :/? Sake neko 21:55, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Ayakashi logo.gif
[edit]Image:Ayakashi logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
