A fact from Ayşe Gül Altınay appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 17 April 2021 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Turkish anthropologist Ayşe Gül Altınay was sentenced to 25 months in jail due to her support for a peaceful resolution of the Kurdish–Turkish conflict?

Sad and interesting fact, on good sources, subscription sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I have some wishes for the article, in the order of urgency:
format the bare url ref
repeat her name at the beginning of each section, for readers who come from the TOC
make the lead a summary, not the beginning, - in other words: get everything from the lead also to the body, and keep only the most important facts in the lead; ideally begin below the TOC where she was born and how educated, - if not known where she was active as what. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:43, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review! I have Done most of the suggestions, but I cannot find place of birth in any of the sources. (t · c) buidhe15:01, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
