criticism
[edit]In regard to the little edit war that you guys have going on in this article right now: it's fine to include some criticism of an academic's work but it should be criticism which has been published in reliable sources. Additionally, since this is a BLP (biography of a living person), the criticism should be published in a substantial number of reliable sources - not just one article. The Edwards and Oglivie working paper does not qualify on either count, AFAICT. The Boldizzoni book is a little bit better ... but it's very recent and apparantly much more general. I can see it being possibly used in the article on Cliometrics or Economic History but here it is in fact undue.
Consider this an (unsolicited) third opinion.Volunteer Marek (talk) 04:28, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
