Aviamilano/CPV1 connection
[edit]One odd thing is that both these types, quite distinct in some ways (e.g. tail), were photographed with the same reg, I-RAID. They also had very similar fuselages apart from the canopy; we known the forward A2 fuselage was glass fibre and the CPV1's ply covered. Could the CPV1's wooden fuselage structure have been reused and the reg likewise? The dates are a bit hazy but I'd guess the CPV1 is earlier (T-tail, GF on A2). Anyone got an Italian civil reg for the early 1960s? Might help.TSRL (talk) 21:20, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
