What's not NPOV?

[edit]

removed advertisement tag - I see nothing in the article that is not NPOV. Those who disagree could at least comment here on what's wrong. The "user can" statements might be reworded, but those are not "advocating" or "selling" the system. I've almost completely stopped using the system and have no interest in promoting it. It *was* my PDA "killer app" before getting live data service, but I rarely use it now.

Founded, went public and acquired

[edit]

AvantGo was founded in 1997 - based in San Mateo. It quickly grew to nearly 400 employees and went public on September 28, 2000. IPO price was $12/share and it closed the day up $8 at $20/share - with a market cap of nearly $1 Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).</ref>Billion. On Dec 12, 2002, the company was sold to Sybase for $38Million - only a bit more than the cash it had on hand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.180.34.69 (talk) 22:37, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
